Spider-Man is one of the most popular characters in all of fiction. He’s the mascot of Marvel and a part of the big three superheroes, alongside both Batman and Superman. So, like Superman and Batman, he had an amazing, no spectacular animated series. We’ve talked about Batman: The Animated Series and touched on Superman: The Animated Series so now let's focus on our favorite teen hero. We’ll be taking a look back at the Spectacular Spider-Man.

Spectacular focus on Peter Parker’s life in high school. He’s been Spider-Man for about six months at the start of the first episode. He’s not in his prime yet, but he’s also not a rookie. Voiced by the talented Josh Keaton, Peter needs to help his aunt pay her bills, intern at Dr. Conner’s lab, and deal with high school love drama all while being your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. The show is classic Spidey. It has a balance of humor and action that works perfectly with the character. It takes story beats from the comics and makes it i…

PLASTIC MAN Movie Enters Development (Again) at Warner Bros.

Back in the 1990s, Warner Bros. began to develop a movie starring DC superhero Plastic Man. The project was revived a decade later, with a planned film starring Keanu Reeves and directed by the Wachowskis. Obviously, that never happened. But it looks like Patrick "Eel" O'Brian is being given another shot.

A Plastic Man movie is now in development at WB and DC Films. It is being written by up-and-coming scribe Amanda Idoko, who was hired by the studio after searching for half a year. No director is hired yet. While plot details are being kept under wraps, the film will reportedly stay true to the comedic tone of the comics. This move comes as DC is shifting towards an overall lighter tone to its movies.

While Plastic Man has appeared in various animated movies and shows over the years, this will mark the character's live action debut. DC has recently put a lot of movies into development, and it's unclear how many of them will actually be made in the near future. …

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 5x08- "What's Past is Prologue"

Marvel's Spider-Man was our most anticipated game of the year. We’ve professed our love for the Batman Arkham series many times, and our passion for Spider-Man even more. So, what if I told you that Marvel's Spider-Man was the perfect marriage between the two? Let’s talk some Spider-Man.

Insomniac took Spider-Man in a slightly different direction than we’ve seen lately. We have Peter Parker who is in his prime; a 23-year-old college graduate, who’s long past taking selfies for the newspaper. This Peter has been Spidey for almost 10 years, he’s good at, which makes for fantastic gameplay. Swinging is like a dream. Combat takes some getting used to, you’ll die a lot, but once you learn how to use focus and Spidey sense, you’ll be good. Making Spider-Man older means we skip the learning curb and go straight into the action, and boy does it have action.

The story is relatively simple. Peter’s big bads break out of the Raft, while two new baddies emerge out of the shadows. He has t…

FEATURE: 10 Characters We Want to See on The CW's BATWOMAN

Batwoman is the latest major DC hero to join The CW's Arrowverse. After her debut in the "Elseworlds" crossover event, Ruby Rose's Kate Kane is expected to return in her own solo series. Not much is known about the potential show, except that it would follow Batwoman's adventures in Gotham.
Every Arrowverse show has featured plenty of iconic DC heroes, and it is only natural for Batwoman to follow suit. Here, we list 10 characters that we hope to see in the spinoff series.
Lonnie Machin was a recurring villain on Arrow's fourth season, originally a henchman for Damien Darhk and later an enemy of both him and Green Arrow. We last saw Machin in the season five premiere, where he was beaten by Green Arrow and imprisoned. It would be cool to see him return, but how about on another series? Having him pop up on Batwoman would be neat, as it would add another Arrowverse connection. Not to mention, Anarky is better known as a Batman villain, so having him tra…

BLACK PANTHER Receives Best Picture Drama Nomination at the Golden Globes

Marvel Studios has been pushing an awards campaign for Black Panther, which has the rare legitimate shot of receiving big nominations at the Academy Awards and other ceremonies. The campaign has received a major victory, as the 2019 Golden Globes nominations have been announced.

Black Panther has been nominated for the Best Motion Picture - Drama award. This is the first superhero movie in history to ever get a nod in that category. It is also the second superhero film to get any sort of Best Motion Picture nomination; Deadpool was up in the Musical or Comedy category in 2017.

Black Panther also received a couple other nominations. Ludwig Göransson's score is up for Best Original Score, while "All the Stars" by Kendrick Lamar and SZA is contending for Best Original Song. As for other movies, both Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Incredibles 2 are up for the Best Motion Picture - Animated award.

New MEN IN BLACK Movie Gets a Title and Logo

Sony is heading to Brazil Comic-Con (CCXP) to promote upcoming movies on Saturday. Among them is the new Men in Black, which stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson as two new MIB agents. Now, the film has an official title and logo.

First spotted by Collider on CCXP and later confirmed by Sony, the new movie is titled Men in Black International. The film's social media pages have launched, and they include a shiny new logo.

Men in Black International is said to be a global adventure taking our agents around the world, so the subtitle makes sense. This also makes it the first movie to have a subtitle and not a number in the title, setting it even further apart from the original trilogy.

Stay tuned for more news as we have it. Men in Black International hits theaters on June 14th, 2019.

Recap: ARROW S7 E8 - Unmasked

Oliver is finally out of prison! So does that mean things will finally get back to normal? Of course not, what do you this is? The Flash? No, Arrow is operating on a whole other level. We open this episode to see the new Green Arrow training, and yes it is a female like I called back in episode 4Sea Shimooka plays the new GA but more on that later.

So, Oliver is back home and is suffering from PTSD. He freaks out when Felicity walks in on him taking a shower, but considering what happened in prison, you can't really blame him. Ollie is making his first public appearance since being outed as Green Arrow, and he looks like a fish out of water. He even spaces out a couple of times. It's an interesting take since his five years in hell were way worse than his time in prison. He's reunited with Team Arrow and the big wigs of Star City. It's great to see Team Arrow back together even if it was for one scene.

This episode finally gets back to the flash forwards, and we ent…

SHANG-CHI Movie in Development at Marvel Studios

Marvel Studios has been secretive about its post-Avengers 4 plans, but we have a few ideas about what movies are coming up. Films starring Black Widow and The Eternals are reportedly set for Marvel's 2020 slate, while Moon Knight may get a movie too. There are also plans for sequels to Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Now, we have another title to add to the list.

A movie starring Shang-Chi is now in development at Marvel Studios. Wonder Woman 1984 scribe Dave Callaham, who was recently rumored to be doing a Marvel movie, is working on the script. This will mark the first Marvel movie with an Asian lead. The studio is looking at several Asian and Asian-American directors to tackle this one. This marks Marvel's latest effort to increase diversity, both in front of and behind the camera.

In the comics, Shang-Chi is known as the "Master of Kung-Fu." He is an expert martial artist, and he has affiliations with teams like the Marvel Knights and…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 5x07- "O Come, All Ye Thankful"
