DOOM PATROL: Casting, Alan Tudyk for Mr. Nobody, Timothy Dalton for The Chief

We have casting news for Doom Patrol! Mr. Nobody and The Chief for the squad have officially been cast.

Alan Tudyk will be playing Eric Mordren/Mr. Nobody. Tudyk was popular as K-2SO in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Eric Mordren, after exposure to experiments by ex-Nazis in Paraguay, emerges as a living shadow, able to drive others insane, and is insane himself, as Mr. Nobody.

Timothy Dalton will be playing Dr. Niles Caulder, better known as The Chief, the leader of the strange heroes of Doom Patrol. Described as a brilliant medical scientist, he will stop at nothing to bring those back from the edge of death. He will always help those in need.

Written by Jeremy Carver, Doom Patrol is a reimagining of one of DC’s strangest group of outcasts: Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Negative Man(Dwain Murphy), Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby) and Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero). Led by the mysterious Caulder(Timothy Dalton), they’re called into action by the ultimate hero for the digital age, Cyborg (Joivan Wade). Banding together, these rejects find themselves on a mission that will take them to the weirdest and most unexpected corners of the DC universe.
