DC's SUPER PETS Getting an Animated Movie from Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. has been beefing up its slate of animated DC movies for theaters, with The LEGO Batman Movie releasing last year and Teen Titans GO! To the Movies currently playing at a theater near you. And now, another movie has entered development.

According to Collider, LEGO Batman scribe Jared Stern is writing a Super Pets movie, which unites the pets of various DC characters. In the comics, the Legion of Super-Pets consisted of characters like Krypto, Streaky, Bat-Cow, any many more. The lineup for this movie is unknown at this time. (If Ace the Bathound isn't included, we riot.)

The Super Pets got their own series of animated shorts from DC Nation, while some characters appeared in the Krypto the Superdog series. But this is the first adaptation of the team for the big screen.

Stay tuned for more news as we have it.
