Lobo is Coming to KRYPTON Season 2

Krypton held its San Diego Comic-Con panel today to promote its second season, and some interesting new details were announced. Most significantly, the big bad of this season was confirmed, and it's none other than the Main Man himself.

It was announced that Lobo will be popping up in Krypton season two next year. An actor hasn't been announced at this time. This will mark the character's official live action debut.

This decision comes as a Lobo movie remains in development hell. Earlier this year, it was reported that Warner Bros. was courting Michael Bay to direct it, but it had to be rewritten to lower its budget. At this time, it's unclear just how far along it is. In the meantime, it makes sense to bring him onto a DC show, which leads to Krypton.

Elsewhere, the Krypton team confirmed that we'll be further exploring Brainiac and Doomsday next season, while the origins of Nightwing (no, not THAT Nightwing) and Flamebird will be featured. And, of course, they will deal with the ramifications of last season, which drastically altered Krypton's history as we know it. For more details, head over to the show's Twitter page.

Krypton season two premieres sometime in 2019 on SyFy.
