FEATURE: Five More Marvel Team-Ups We Want to See

With Marvel focusing more on team films such as Ant-Man and the Wasp, Thor: Ragnarok, and even Captain America: Civil War, I think now would be a good time to discuss 5 Marvel Team-Up films that need to happen. For the sake of simplicity, we’re not including any characters that have yet to appear in the MCU. Let’s jump into it!

Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange

We know that the Sorcerer Supreme due for a sequel and Wanda needs more time to shine. Both deal with the mystic arts, and both are two of the most underrated Marvel heroes. Could Strange train Wanda in the mystic arts? Is her power even magic based? I don’t know! That’s what makes this fun. Seeing the odd character pairings in Avengers: Infinity War was one of the many highlights from the film. I think Stephen and Wanda have to potential to be something special.

Black Widow and Hawkeye

Black Widow has a movie in development and with rumors of it being a prequel, it only makes sense for Hawkeye to co-star. It can be the spy thriller we’ve been craving ever since Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Seeing what these two were up to before the events of The Avengers is something I’ve always been interested in. What if Hawkeye is the antagonist and then wins Black Widow over to S.H.I.E.L.D.? That would be very cool.

Thor and Captain Marvel

This is a bit of a cheat because Captain Marvel hasn’t appeared in the MCU just yet. It’s also kind of strange because we don’t know anything about her, but hear me out. Thor is king of the MCU right now. After the success of Thor: Ragnarok and him stealing the show in Avengers: Infinity War, he’s prime to take on the lead role within the next phase of films. We know that Captain Marvel will be the most powerful hero to ever appear in the franchise, we know that she will be the main character in the future. With Marvel going cosmic it would be great to see these characters carry the franchise.

Ant-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy is one of Marvel’s most outrageous franchises. With Ant-Man needing to spice things up, it would make sense to drop him in one of their most popular series. His personality would fit into the team dynamic, and his humor will fit right at home. The only drawback is that he might be too similar to Star-Lord, but I wouldn’t worry about that.

Captain America and Black Panther

T’Challa and Steve Rogers are two of the best characters in the MCU. We know that they have a connection from the end of Captain America: Civil War and in Infinity War. With both being not superpowered weaker than some of the other Marvel heroes, it should be easier to find a threat for them to face. What if the two of them have to go up against the Serpent Society?

That’s it for my list! It was very challenging to narrow it down but I’m happy with what I came up with. Do you like these ideas? Do you have more team up suggestions? Let us know on WOBAMEnt on Twitter and Facebook! For more listicles, reviews and more, stay tuned.
