Wally West Won't Be a Series Regular on LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Next Season

Keiynan Lonsdale's Wally West was a key supporting character on The Flash for a couple years, before leaving during its fourth season. He went on to join Legends of Tomorrow in the second half of this past season, and he was arguably a better fit there than he ever was on Flash. Unfortunately, even that has to come to an end.

According to TV Line, Lonsdale will not be returning to Legends of Tomorrow season four - at least as a series regular. No reason was given for the exit, but the door is open for him to return in the future in any capacity. However, Wally will pop up in The Flash's season five premiere. His role in the Arrowverse after that is currently unknown.

This is sure to disappoint those who have wanted Wally to play a bigger role in these shows. Fans have critiqued his lack of a real story on The Flash for the past year, but Legends began to make that right by bringing him in as a regular. And now, his future is up in the air. Shame.

Stay tuned for more as we have it.
