Two More Writers Working on SUICIDE SQUAD 2

It's been a while since we got an update on the Suicide Squad sequel. Originally set to begin production this fall, the film was pushed back to accommodate for Harley Quinn spinoff Birds of Prey. But now, we have word of two new writers who have been added to the team.

Writer/actor Todd Stashwick has told DC Movie News (via Batman-News) that he is working on the Suicide Squad 2 script, alongside David Bar Katz and director Gavin O'Conner. While Stashwick has written for comics, TV and video games in the past, this marks his first film screenplay. He adds that he's a "lifelong" DC Comics fan, and he has been working with Geoff Johns on the movie.

With production now not expected to begin sometime next year, it might be another while before we hear more about Suicide Squad 2. Stay tuned. Ans for Stashwick's full interview with DC Movie News, click HERE.
