FX Renews LEGION for Season 3

X-Men-inspired series Legion is currently near the end of its second season on FX. But fans of the show shouldn't worry, as it is now set to live on for another year.

FX has announced (via TV Line) that Legion has been renewed for a third season. The new season will air sometime in 2019.

FX original programming president Eric Schrier had this to say about the show's renewal. "Legion has redefined the superhero drama and exceeded all expectations as the intensity and revelation build through the second season. We are incredibly proud of Noah Hawley’s achievement and are honored to continue the series as it pushes the boundaries of conventional television storytelling. We are also grateful for the contributions of our executive producers, John Cameron, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, and Jeph Loeb with Marvel Television, as well as our outstanding cast and crew of this groundbreaking show."

Legion currently airs Tuesdays at 10 PM EST on FX, with the season finale set to air on June 12th. Stay tuned for more as we have it.
