Marvel's BLACK WIDOW Director Search Continues

After the success of Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel is planning for the future. They are moving ahead with a Black Widow solo film, starring Scarlett Johansson of course. Deadline is reporting that Cate Shortland (Berlin Syndrome) is the frontrunner to direct.

We know that the film will likely be a prequel, set before the events of Iron Man 2. Deadline is also reporting that Marvel head Kevin Feige and Johansson met with Amma Asante (Belle) and Maggie Betts (Novitiate) for the directing gig. We're eager for more details, but this is all we have for now. For more news stay tuned.
