AQUAMAN Covers Latest Issue of Entertainment Weekly

After a long time waiting, marketing has finally begun for DC Films’ next entry, Aquaman. While a trailer is expected to drop soon, today we have the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, which spotlights the movie as its cover story.

The first cover features a closeup of Jason Momoa’s titular hero, while the second cover sees him joined by Amber Heard’s Mera and Nicole Kidman’s Atlanna. The second cover will be available at Barnes and Noble this week, while the first cover will be available everywhere else.

EW also shares some hints at what to expect from the issue. Director James Wan explains that his underwater world is “so separate and so far apart” from the other DC movies, while it will include everything from giant octopi to sea dragons. There is also praise for Momoa, whose “humor-filled performance” perfectly captures his real-life personality on screen.

Stay tuned for much more as we have it.

Aquaman is scheduled to hit theaters December 21st. The sixth installment in the DC Films Universe stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Temuera Morrison, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Ludi Lin, Patrick Wilson, and Nicole Kidman. James Wan directs from a script by Will Beall.
