Two Composers Hired to Score NEW MUTANTS

We're only a few months away from the release of New Mutants, the latest spinoff film in the X-Men franchise. We got a teaser trailer a couple months ago, teasing the movie's horror tone and more. Now, we know who is composing the score for the film.

According to Film Music Reporter, composing duo Nate Walcott and Mike Mogis will score New Mutants, re-teaming with director Josh Boone. They have previously scored Boone's two other movies, Stuck in Love and The Fault in Our Stars. They are also members of the indie rock band Bright Eyes.

New Mutants is scheduled to hit theaters on April 13th, 2018. The 11th installment of the X-Men franchise stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Henry Zaga, Charlie Heaton, Blu Hunt, and Alice Braga. Josh Boone directs from a script that he co-wrote with Knate Gwaltney.
