Ryan Potter Joins TITANS as Beast Boy

The Titans cast is (probably) fully formed. DC has announced that Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6) will play Beast Boy in the upcoming Titans series. The 22-year-old will be the first to bring Garfield Logan to life in live action.

Beast Boy is a main character in Titans lore and should be a major player in the series. Here’s the official character description from DC: Garfield “Gar” Logan contracted the lethal disease, Sakutia, as a child while on an African expedition with his geneticist parents. Treated with an experimental drug, Gar survived but not without developing some bizarre side effects. Along with skin and hair turning permanently green, the wisecracking, fun-loving Beast Boy is able to reshape himself into any animal of any size he can imagine.

Potter joins Teagan Croft (Raven), Anna Diop (Starfire), Brenton Thwaites (Dick Grayson), Alan Ritchson (Hawk), Minka Kelly (Dove) and Lindsey Gort (Amy Rohrbach). Production starts November 14th and ends May 21st of next year; meaning we might see some footage from the show as early as January. We also might see character posters before they start filming.
