Wonder Woman has proven to be an indisputable win for the DC Extended Universe. The film grossed $103 million in its opening weekend, the biggest opening ever for a female-led superhero movie and for a female-directed movie. Wonder Woman has also received extremely positive reviews from critics, while audiences appear to love it more than any other DCEU film.

This is one of the smallest second-weekend drops of all time for a superhero film, while it’s the biggest second weekend from a DCEU film to date. This gives the movie an easy win over new release The Mummy, which is underperforming domestically with $32.2 million.

Wonder Woman has now grossed $205 million domestically. According to Gitesh Pandya, the film has currently earned $230.2 million overseas. This brings its worldwide total to $435.2 million.
