Warner Bros. Announces TEEN TITANS Movie from KONG: SKULL ISLAND Director

Warner Bros. is in the midst of expanding its DC Extended Universe slate, putting several films into various stages of development. Everything from Justice League Dark and Gotham City to solo movies for Black Adam and Nightwing are in the works. Now, the studio is turning to a fan-favorite team for the next installment.

Warner Bros. has announced that Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts will direct and produce a live action Teen Titans movie. Seth Grahame-Smith, who was at one point set to write and direct The Flash, will pen this script, which is based on a story that he and Geoff Johns created.

The studio also confirmed that this film will be DC’s previously-untitled movie scheduled for November 1st, 2019.

Among the members of the DCEU Titans team are Nightwing, Cyborg, and Batgirl, who will all go on to star in their own standalone movies following Teen Titans.
