New INJUSTICE 2 Trailer Teases More of the Story, Various Editions for the Game Announced

With the release of Injustice 2 now under 4 months away, NetherRealm Studios has unveiled a new trailer for the game that hints more of its story. While this new trailer for the sequel to 2013's DC Comics fighter doesn't give any gameplay footage, it does tease a few of the battles that will occur including Batman vs. Robin and Wonder Woman vs. Supergirl, while also confirming that Brainiac will be the game's main villain.

And if you stuck around till the very end of the trailer, you'll have seen the "post-credits stinger" of sorts, which reveals that Darkseid will be available as a playable character for those that pre-order the game. Darkseid will be available as a reward for anyone that pre-orders any of the 3 purchasable versions of the game - the usual Standard Edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition, and an Ultimate Edition. For what the pricier editions (exact prices are to be determined) will include, the folks over at Gematsu have us covered:

What edition will you be getting (if you plan on getting the game)? Is Brainiac the big bad you were hoping for? Are you cool with Darkseid only being a pre-order bonus at launch? Let us know down below in the comments!
