NBC Sets Premiere Date for POWERLESS Series

Joining the DC Entertainment television slate next year is Powerless, a workplace comedy series on NBC. The show focuses on an insurance company in the DC Universe, as we see through the eyes of these ordinary and, well, powerless people. Powerless stars Vanessa Hudgens, Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk, Christina Kirk, and Ron Funches.

Now, we finally know when exactly the series begins. NBC has announced that Powerless will premiere on Thursday, February 2nd at 8:30 PM EST. Fortunately, for fellow DC TV fans who were disappointed by Legends of Tomorrow's move to Tuesday nights, we now have another show to watch on Thursdays.

NBC has also release a new plot synopsis for Powerless, teasing the presence of Wayne Enterprises.

In a world where humanity must cope with the collateral damage of Super Heroes and Super-Villains, Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens) begins her first day as Director of Research & Development for Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises that specializes in products that make defenseless bystanders feel a little safer. Full of confidence and big ideas, Emily quickly learns that her expectations far exceed those of her new boss (Alan Tudyk) and officemates, so it will be up to her to lead the team toward their full potential and the realization that you don’t need superpowers to be a hero.

Are you excited to watch the Powerless premiere in February?
