FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 3×04 – “The New Rogues”
The Flash (3×04) – “The New Rogues” Written by: Benjamin Raab & Deric A Hughes Directed by: Stefan Pleszczynski Hey! Here’s something we haven’t had in a while. A flashback to the night of the Accelerator Explosion to introduce our villain of the week. This week it’s the cliché Bonnie and Clyde couple… Sam Scudder and Rosalind Dillon. That’s fine, it’s not about where you start but where you finish so I’ll give a pass to a pair of prominent Flash Rogues being introduced this way, but it’s a short pass. While Sam is trying on suits and Rosalind is looking on approvingly in walks someone else I…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 3×03 – “Magenta”
The Flash (3×03) – “Magenta” Written by: Judalina Neira & David Kob Directed by: Armen V Kevorkian We return this week to a presentation of Barry Allen being the kind of employee that drives supervisor to drink. As this continues I find myself more and more in Julian’s corner. Work your scheduled shift, Assh-… Allen! Then Barry races off to a date with Iris (with a neat little call back to his date with Linda in season one.) Then he and Iris head off to dinner with the caveat that she wants a date with Barry Allen, not the Flash. That goes about as well as you’d expect…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 3×02 – “Paradox”
The Flash (3×02) – “Paradox” Written by: Aaron & Todd Helbing Directed by: Ralph Hemecker Gotta give Barry credit, judging by what we saw at the end of the last episode you still can show self-awareness by starting this week with “I made a big mistake.” Yes you did, God man you were a nerd growing up you had to have seen “City on the Edge of Forever” at least once. Small changes in history make bigger changes in present day and they compound on each other. So Barry runs to Starling City, or is Star City now? I haven’t watch Arrow since early season three. And…

First Look: SUPERGIRL’s James Olsen Transforms into Guardian
Earlier this week, it was announced that James Olsen will take on the mantle of DC Comics hero Guardian this season on Supergirl. This marks a surprising twist for the infamous photographer. Now, DC has released a first-look image of Olsen fully suited up as the new vigilante. Unlike the classic Guardian design, Supergirl‘s iteration does not have any gold. It’s a silverish gray armored suit and mask, complete with a shield. (Yeah, I’m not big on this design either.) Check out the Guardian suit below, and stay tuned for more as we have it.

SUPERGIRL’s James Olsen Will Suit Up as Guardian Later This Season
Supergirl made its second season premiere on The CW last night, and it was a strong beginning to the new year. Later this season, we’ll meet new characters such as Miss Martian, Maggie Sawyer and Snapper Carr. But on a surprising note, Jimmy James Olsen will take on the mantle of a DC Comics superhero. At a press screening today (via Entertainment Weekly), it was announced that James will become Guardian on Supergirl later this season. This is a pretty big development for the character, but it turns out that being a photographer isn’t enough. Oh, and Winn will be assisting him in this vigilante journey. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg explains, “James…
