THE FLASH: Andrew Kreisberg Teases Gorilla Grodd’s Return

(Tries not to make a Harambe joke.) Back January, The Flash executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told Collider that he would like to see the next chapter of Gorilla Grodd’s story get told in a multi-episode arc on the show. “I would liken the Gorilla City thing to Ra’s al Ghul. You know, you hear about ‘the man from nanda part’ in [Arrow] Season 1, and ‘the man who showed Malcolm the way,’ and then you met Nyssa, then in Season 3 you met Ra’s. So, it’s a long-term thing.” 

Today at the Television Critics Association press tour, Kreisberg revealed that his wishes have come true. “Yes, we’re going to be doing a two-part episode that takes place in Gorilla City.” So, it sounds like we’ll get to know more about the villain’s story during season three that we only know a little of.

Also revealed during the panel was a couple of other villains you can expect The Flash to take on in season three. Dr. Alchemy and Savitar will be featured this upcoming season! 

Season three of The Flash, which will kick off on Tuesday, October 4th, should be a good one with the much-anticipated Flashpoint storyline being explored. We can’t wait, can you? Stay with us for more news as we have it.
