THE FLASH Casts New Villain The Top for Season 3

Barry Allen is facing a slew of new enemies on The Flash next season. Dr. Alchemy and Savitar are the two big bads, while Mirror Master is on the way. Plus, Reverse-Flash and Gorilla Grodd are set to return. Now, another iconic Flash villain is coming to the show, but with a twist.

According to E! Online, Awkward star Ashley Rickards has been cast as Rosalind “Rosa” Dillon, aka The Top. She makes her debut in episode four of the season – the same episode that marks the first appearance of Mirror Master. The two villains will serve as a Bonnie and Clyde-type duo. In the comics, The Top (a male character) has the power to, well, make people’s heads spin.

As if this episode wasn’t significant enough, S3E4 will also mark the return of Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold. Earlier this year, Wentworth Miller signed a deal to appear across all of The CW’s superhero shows, including Flash. This episode will see a “struggle” between Cold and Mirror Master, whose origin will be told. Who will win? We’re just gonna have to tune in and find out.

The Flash returns on Tuesday, October 4th at 8 PM EST on The CW.
