Adam West and Burt Ward Return in BATMAN: RETURN OF THE CAPED CRUSADERS Animated Movie

Last year, Batman ’66 stars Adam West and Burt Ward revealed that they are reprising their roles for a new animated movie, based on the classic television series. Little info was revealed since, other than a planned 2016 release (just in time for the show’s 50th anniversary). Now, the movie has been officially announced.

Entertainment Weekly has released the teaser trailer for Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders. The animated film will be released on digital download on October 11th, while the Blu-Ray/DVD will debut on November 1st. West and Ward are voicing Batman and Robin, respectively, while Julie Newmar will reprise the role of Catwoman. The trailer also teases Joker, Riddler and Penguin, but voice actors for those characters haven’t been announced yet.
