Runtime for SUICIDE SQUAD Reportedly Revealed

We’re only a few weeks away from the release of Warner Bros.’ next DC film, Suicide Squad. The marketing campaign for the movie is in its final push, with a big presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 planned. Now, it looks like we know the film’s runtime.

According to Collider, the runtime for Suicide Squad is 130 minutes, or 2 hours and 10 minutes, with credits. This would make it the shortest film in the DC Extended Universe to date.

2013’s Man of Steel had a 143 minute (2 hours and 23 minutes) length, while Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had a 151 minute (2 hours and 31 minutes) runtime. (The Ultimate Edition of the latter film has an extra 30 minutes of footage.)

A 130 minute runtime for Suicide Squad sounds great. Hopefully, it’ll allow enough time to develop its ensemble cast. Stay tuned for more news as we have it.

Suicide Squad is scheduled to hit theaters August 5th. The third installment in the DC Extended Universe stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Jay Hernandez and Karen Fukahara. David Ayer writes and directs.
