ARROW Casts Another New Ally for Oliver Queen in Season 5

Casting is underway for new characters in Arrow‘s fifth season, which premieres next fall on The CW. The series recently cast new vigilante Wild Dog, while the show is seeking to fill the roles of two villains. Now, with Oliver Queen now serving as the mayor of Star City, he’s gonna have another new ally.

According to Deadline, Trainwreck actor Josh Segarra has landed a series regular role on Arrow next season. He will play Adrian Chase, the new district attorney who assists Mayor Queen. While Queen has already been fighting crime as Green Arrow, it sounds like he now wants to use the legal system in cleaning up the streets of Star City.

In the comics, Chase became the crimefighter known as Vigilante, following his family’s murder. It is currently unknown if this storyline will factor into Arrow.
