Ben Affleck to Serve as Executive Producer for JUSTICE LEAGUE

After debuting in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Ben Affleck will reprise his role as the Dark Knight in next year’s Justice League. And he’s also set to write and direct his own Batman movie. So, he has a crucial role in the DC Extended Universe. But his influence over Justice League just got a little stronger.

According to Deadline, Affleck has signed on to be an executive producer for Justice League. In this role, he will work with director Zack Snyder and screenwriter Chris Terrio to make Justice League the best that it can possibly be. Affleck is apparently doing this to support Snyder. So, Affleck will have a little more creative influence over the movie than just starring in it.

Affleck is an established director and screenwriter, and his talents are greatly valued by Warner Bros. So, it would make sense for the studio to utilize them to improve the DC movies. Stay tuned for more news as we have it.

Justice League Part One is scheduled to hit theaters November 17th, 2017. The fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amber Heard, Joe Morton, Willem Dafoe, Jeremy Irons and J.K.
