Director Seth Grahame-Smith Drops Out of THE FLASH Due to “Creative Differences”
A few months ago, Seth Grahame-Smith was hired to write and direct Warner Bros.’ The Flash, which will star Ezra Miller as the Scarlet Speedster. His script is based on a story treatment written by Chris Miller and Phil Lord. However, it looks like the director’s chair for the DC film is now empty. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Grahame-Smith has exited The Flash, citing the common “creative differences” reason. The movie would have marked his feature directorial debut. However, Grahame-Smith’s script will still be used for the movie. The Wrap adds that while Warner Bros. likes the script, the studio wants a “more experienced” director to bring it to life.…

THEORY: A Marvel Spy Caused The Failure Of BATMAN V SUPERMAN And The Downfall Of The DCEU
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice came out last month, and I think it’s safe to say that the movie was a failure akin to the likes of New Coke and McDonald’s disastrous 90’s burger The Arch Deluxe. It may seem like a bit of an exaggeration to compare DC’s latest flop to some of these foods/beverages, but really, these are all things that are horrible and lost their respective companies billions of dollars. The failure of Batman v Superman specifically can be pointed to Zack Snyder, who shat out two of the worst abominations of all time, first with Man of Steel and then with its “sequel.” You may…

J.K. Simmons Says He Has a “Very Small” Role in JUSTICE LEAGUE
In an interview with DP/30 (transcription via Comic Book), J.K. Simmons talks more about his role as Commissioner James Gordon in Justice League. While the DC superhero epic began production a few weeks ago, Simmons reaffirms that he doesn’t start shooting until June. The Oscar winner also reveals that he only has a “very small” in Justice League. This makes sense, given how the movie has to focus on its heroes (there’s at least six of them), the villain(s), and any other supporting characters. However, Simmons implies that we’ll be seeing plenty more of Gordon in future DC movies. “I’m going into a thing that hopefully will be 2, 3,…
