Jeremy Irons Confirms His Return as Alfred for JUSTICE LEAGUE

One of the highlights of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was Alfred Pennyworth, played wonderfully by Jeremy Irons. This take on Bruce Wayne's butler is a worthy addition to the long line of portrayals of the character. Alfred also added to several of the film's more humorous moments, while Irons had flawless chemistry with Ben Affleck. So, it's exciting to hear that he will be back for Zack Snyder's next DC movie.

Irons has confirmed to Showbiz411(via Batman-News) that he will reprise his role as Alfred in Justice League, which began shooting a few weeks ago. No further details on the extent of his role in this film are provided.

Alfred marks the latest Batman supporting character to appear in Justice League, joining J.K. Simmons in his debut as Commissioner Gordon. Also, don't be surprised if both actors return for Affleck's Batman film. Stay tuned for more news as we have it.

Justice League Part One is scheduled to hit theaters November 17th, 2017. The fi…

Director Seth Grahame-Smith Drops Out of THE FLASH Due to "Creative Differences"

A few months ago, Seth Grahame-Smith was hired to write and direct Warner Bros.' The Flash, which will star Ezra Miller as the Scarlet Speedster. His script is based on a story treatment written by Chris Miller and Phil Lord. However, it looks like the director's chair for the DC film is now empty.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Grahame-Smith has exited The Flash, citing the common "creative differences" reason. The movie would have marked his feature directorial debut.

However, Grahame-Smith's script will still be used for the movie. The Wrapadds that while Warner Bros. likes the script, the studio wants a "more experienced" director to bring it to life.

The Flash is reportedly casting five characters, but don't be surprised if the pre-production phase is delayed a little bit until a new director is hired.

Stay tuned for more news as we have it. The Flash is set to hit theaters on March 16th, 2018.

THEORY: A Marvel Spy Caused The Failure Of BATMAN V SUPERMAN And The Downfall Of The DCEU

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice came out last month, and I think it's safe to say that the movie was a failure akin to the likes of New Coke and McDonald's disastrous 90's burger The Arch Deluxe. It may seem like a bit of an exaggeration to compare DC's latest flop to some of these foods/beverages, but really, these are all things that are horrible and lost their respective companies billions of dollars.

The failure of Batman v Superman specifically can be pointed to Zack Snyder, who shat out two of the worst abominations of all time, first with Man of Steel and then with its "sequel." You may be wondering how one man can be so inept that he managed to produce two utter trainwrecks in a row and effectively destroy the DC Extended Universe. Well, the explanation is simple. You see, Zack Snyder is secretly... A DUCK. No, sorry, that was a lie. You see, regardless of his species, this doesn't affect the actual quality of his films, as ducks have made some s…

FEATURE: Top 10 Moments From SUPERGIRL Season One

Supergirl season one has come to a close, and now the wait for a second season has started. With the show being away for the next few months; now is the time to reflect on the it's rookie season. In this article we're going to be taking a look at the top 10 moments from Supergirl season one! Spoilers from here on out, so don't say I didn't warn you.

10. Cat Learns Supergirl's Identity Taking the tenth spot on our list is a series of moments from the fall finale and the two following episodes. Here Cat Grant was able to figure out Supergirl's identity. It's not easy trying to fool the queen of all media, but with the help of J'onn J'ozz, Kara was able to have Supergirl in the same room - throwing Cat off her trail - for now. This was a great character moment, and a fun little arc for Kara and Cat. It was also nice that they addressed the fact that Cat knows both Kara and Supergirl, but doesn't know they're the same person. It was also funny se…
