We are only four weeks away from the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and with tickets set to go on sale Monday, box office predictions have begun to hit the web. According to Deadline, rival studios and tracking executives are projecting that the film will open with a $100-140 million opening weekend. The film will hit tracking boards on Thursday, so we’ll receive a more definite prediction then. An R-Rated “Ultimate” Cut of BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is On the Way
Well, this is probably the most unexpected headline you’ll read today. A few months back, MPAA confirmed a PG-13 rating for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. You know, the rating that accompanies 99% of superhero movies nowadays. However, there is another cut of this film that was just classified by the MPAA, and it has been given a rating of…R?! According to the MPAA (via Batman-News), an “Ultimate Edition” of Batman v Superman has been classified. It is rated R for “sequences of violence.” The cut is distributed by Warner Home Entertainment, so presumably, this is a director’s cut, which will be released on DVD/Blu-Ray. Based on the rating,…

Recap: SUPERGIRL Season 1, Episode 14: “Truth, Justice, and The American Way”
WARNING This review contains full spoilers from the episode. First off I’d like to say thank you to Jason for covering the previous episode of Supergirl. He did an amazing job, and it’s greatly appreciated. Who knows maybe the multiverse will allow us to do this again someday. Back in the world of Supergirl, we have Cat still holding a grudge because of the mess that happened in the last couple of episodes; Kara breaking up with Adam, J’onn doing a terrible Kara impersonation etc. Having Cat hire a new assistant because Kara can’t do her job was a interesting side story. The new assistant is named Siobhan Smythe (or assistant number one), and is truly terrible person.…
