THE FLASH Movie Suit Rumored to Be Tech-Based

With The Flash TV series being a huge hit on The CW, and a separate version of Flash appearing in 2017’s Justice League, Warner Bros. wants casual fans to know that there is a huge difference. According to Den of Geek, Warner Bros. wants a distinctive difference between the Flash movie and the Flash TV series, with the movie costume having a more “tech-based” look.

Warner Bros. doesn’t want “any comparison to the well designed and received TV version.” with his to look more “like armor”. With the more armored costume designs for Wonder Woman and Aquaman, it seems likely that The Flash will be no different.

The first thing that comes to mind is the Flash’s costume from the video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Here he has a heavily armored suit that fits well in the look of the DC Extended Universe. If the Flash did have a leather or spandex suit, he’d look completely out of place.

Den of Geek! also is reporting that Barry Allen is a “tech-geek”, meaning he may have designed the suit himself as opposed to getting outside help. This is another difference from the TV show, instead of a character like Cisco Ramon creating Barry’s suit, he has the know how to create it himself. Given Allen’s day job as a forensic scientist, it is logical that he would develop his own technology.

As always stay tuned for more information as it comes.
