Doctor Light Coming to THE FLASH This Season

During an episode of Arrow's second season, there was a reference to Doctor Light, a former employee of S.T.A.R. Labs. This has led to speculation regarding if or when this character will feature in the CW-DC Universe, and now, it is officially happening.

The Flash showrunner Gabrielle Stanton confirmed to TV Line that Doctor Light is set to appear this season. While most fans expected to see the Arthur Light version - aka the DC supervillain named Doctor Light - The Flash will feature the female, heroic version, Kimiyo Hoshi.

The series will mark the live action debut of Hoshi. She was a member of the Justice League in the Justice League Unlimited animated series, while an alternate version appeared in the animated feature Justice League: Gods and Monsters. Doctor Light's powers include flight and manipulation of, well, light.
