Mattel Offers First Look at BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Toy Lines

Another day, another merchandise reveal for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Today, Mattel has offered a first look at the various toys it is producing to tie into the highly anticipated film (via USA Today). These toys will be exclusively for sale at San Diego Comic-Con next week, presumably before they are available to the general public next year.

First up, Mattel will release a $30 two-pack action figure set featuring both Superman and Batman. The two figures are six inches tall, and they are wearing fabric capes. Also included are two bases that combine to form the movie’s logo, as well as lights-and-sounds packaging that teases a “big” scene from the film.

Next, Mattel will release a Barbie line based on Dawn of Justice, in an effort to attract female fans. A Wonder Woman doll has been produced, based on her appearance in the film. The 12-inch figure includes a shield, sword and lasso of truth, as well as Wonder Woman’s iconic armor and bracelets. In addition to Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman themselves will be a part of the Barbie line, which launches next spring.

Meanwhile, Hot Wheels has created a die-cast model of Batman v Superman‘s Batmobile. The $25 toy has rubber tires, machine guns and missile launchers. It will be encased in limited edition packaging.

Finally, Mattel will have a life-sized version of a Batman v Superman Twin Mill car. The build’s paint job contains graphics inspired by the film. For those who wish to own a die-cast version, it will be a part of Hot Wheel’s line in the spring.

Do you plan on purchasing any of these toys? Stay tuned for more as we have it.
