THE FLASH S1E22 Description – Arrow, Firestorm and More Guest Star

A promo for The Flash that was released a few weeks ago teased the Scarlet Speedster’s teaming up with Oliver Queen/~~The Arrow~~ and Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm to take on the Reverse-Flash. It wasn’t clear which episode this would take place – many assumed it was the season finale – but now, we have an official answer.

The CW has released the plot synopsis for episode 22 of The Flash, which is titled “Rogue Air.” In this episode, Barry Allen is seeking back-up in his battle against Harrison Wells, aka the Reverse-Flash. He ends up uniting with Oliver and Firestorm in what is sure to be an epic confrontation. This episode will also see the return of Captain Cold, Weather Wizard and Deathbolt. “Rogue Air” will, er, air on The CW on Tuesday, May 12th at 8 PM EST.

STEPHEN AMELL, ROBBIE AMELL, WENTWORTH MILLER, LIAM MCINTYRE AND DOUG JONES GUEST STAR — As Wells (Tom Cavanagh) once again gets the upper hand on the S.T.A.R. Labs team, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes he needs to make a big move and reaches out to an old foe, Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), for help. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) warn Barry that Cold can’t be trusted. True to form, Cold has his own agenda that involves the meta-humans trapped in the containment cells. As things seem to be going from bad to worse, The Flash gets reinforcements – Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell) and Firestorm (guest star Robbie Amell). Doug Aarniokoski directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#122). Original airdate 5/12/2015.
