Rumor: NBC Looking for a New Home for CONSTANTINE

It has not been the easiest journey for Constantine.  The series got
off to a slow start in a time slot usually referred to as “The Friday
Night Death Slot.”  However, the
show has garnered a loyal fan base which took to social media to
#SaveConstantine.  There are signs that
while it may not be on NBC, Constantine’s
journey may continue beyond next week’s season finale.
Reports are circulating that NBC is actively trying to find
a new home for the series on their family of cable networks.  NBC owns several channels such as: Syfy,
Bravo, USA, Sleuth and Chiller.  Syfy
seems to be the likely home since they have already ran Constantine on the channel and had success in the rating.
According to Cinelinx, if the show does land on Syfy the
show will likely be retitled “Hellblazer” and play more into the
horror and comic elements of the property as opposed to the procedural elements
that have driven stories this season.
Several outlets are reporting this and the story was tweeted
by David Blass, the set designer on Constantine.  However, when asked, neither Warner nor NBC
have responded.
So, are you hopeful that Constantine will live to fight on? Let us know, HERE
