GOTHAM Casts Carol Kane And Kyle Massey For Recurring And Guest Star Roles

We have a couple of new additions to the cast of Fox's latest television series, Gotham. According to TV Line, Taxi's Carol Kane has landed a recurring role in the Batman prequel. The Oscar nominee will play Gertrud Kapelput, the mother of Robin Lord Taylor's Oswald Cobblepot. The character will first appear in the second episode of the series, and is described as, "A proud and faded beauty with delusions of grandeur." With this addition, we can expect to learn more of the future Penguin's backstory.

TV Line has also learned that That's So Raven actor Kyle Massey has been cast in Gotham in a guest star appearance. He will play a character named "Macky," who is described as, "a neglected/abused kid who lives on the streets of Gotham." It is unknown which episode of Gotham he will appear in, or if it's just a one episode appearance. Stay tuned for more news as we have it. Gotham premieres on Fox this fall.
