Jason Momoa Still Refusing To Talk About Playing Aquaman

Recently, trades Variety and The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Jason Momoa has been cast as Aquaman for a minor appearance in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, before getting a bigger role in Justice League. This comes after the Game of Thrones actor denied these rumors in typical Hollywood fashion. And during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel last night, Momoa is still playing coy.

At first, Momoa rehashes that his playing Aquaman is only a rumor. But when Kimmel shows him a copy of Variety’s article reporting his casting, he simply says that it would be “pretty exciting” and that fans simply have to “wait and see.” It’s certainly a different tone from past denials, when he aggressively weighed in on the chances of his playing the King of Atlantis. Now, all we need is an official announcement from Warner Bros. Hopefully, the studio will announce this and other Justice League casting news at Comic-Con next month.
