Amy Adams Has Read The BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Script; Filming Begins “Very Soon”

While we wait on more official news for Batman vs. Superman, we have a brief update from Lois Lane actress Amy Adams. Appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel show while promoting Her, the Oscar nominee confirmed that she begins work on the Man of Steel follow-up “Very soon.” She then adds, “Yes, but I cannot tell you anything.” Production is expected to kick off in early February.
It was recently reported that the script was being rewritten by Argo‘s Chris Terrio. Now, Adams confirms that she has received her copy. “I just read the script,” she says, before stating, “I don’t know anything.” It’s refreshing to hear an official update on the movie, as we have been hearing many, many rumors surrounding the project. Batman vs. Superman (not the final title) is scheduled to hit theaters July 17th, 2015. The follow-up to Man of Steel, the next installment in the DC Cinematic Universe stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne, with Jason Momoa in talks to join. Zack Snyder directs from a script by David S. Goyer and Chris Terrio.
